The key difference lies in the manufacturing method, surface texture, and design complexity: Custom Enamel Pins: Feature recessed metal line work filled with colored enamel paste, producing traditional die-struck metal borders and a classic, tactile finish (available in textured Soft Enamel or smooth Hard Enamel). Best suited for clean line art, bold logos, and solid color blocks. UV Printed Pins: Use direct-to-substrate digital UV printing onto a flat metal or acrylic base, allowing for unlimited colors, seamless gradients, and photorealistic detail without metal separating lines. Best suited for complex artwork, photography, and fast-turnaround orders.
After you approve your digital proof, sample production and mold creation take 2 to 5 days , depending on the size and detail of your design. Once you approve the physical or photo sample, full production and shipping take approximately 10 days . Overall, you can expect to receive your finished order within 2 to 3 weeks of final sample approval.
